Matakana B&B is nestled on the beautiful property of Imladris (The Hidden Valley). Imladris is a two and a half acre property with beautiful gardens, woodlands and pasture grazed by sheep. Native bird life abound; Tuis, Wood Pigeons, Native parrots, Fantails and in the evening the elusive Morepork.
Situated just along from the Ascension Vineyard, midway between Warkworth (3km) and Matakana town centre (4km), we are within easy driving distance to the many great attractions & amenities of Matakana & Warkworth. A superb offer of great restaurants, cafes and vineyards only a stone's throw away. The chic Matakana Farmers Market and RD6 Farmers Market a must for any weekend visitor. Ample supply of classic New Zealand bush walks, parks, beautiful beaches and a marine reserve where you can paddle away in your own glass bottomed kayak, snorkel, or just enjoy the reserve.
